Transmission Snaps

Hello, another problem that has started occuring is after not driving the car for a while like after work or overnight when I shift into drive or reverse there is this terrible snappin and or popping sound and sometimes a chattering sound. This is only when the car is cold. I also get some weird hessitation and shifting after going around a corner. Any help??

That does sound like a blown tranny. I would pull the pan and look for metal... Unless you're under warranty. Then just take it to the dealer.

My friends 07 cobalt makes that SAME SOUND...has only 7000 miles on it and only makes it when it's cold...It's getting worse but he doesnt even have to be in gear...it clicks all the time for a good minute or so...clicks/snaps louder when he starts going in 1st or reverse....I know my car doesn't make that noise
