When I retract my sunroof it makes a a rough sound, kind of hard to describe. It basically sounds like it needs lubrication of some sort. I guess I'll be bringing it into the dealer under warranty. While it isn't broken per say, I've heard too many sunroof horror stories so I want to make sure mine is in tip top shape.

 

Have you tried lubing it up just a little or looking? Could be a pebble or some grit got in there round about the tracks and moving parts.

 

My first sunroof broke where it wouldn't close all the way. They replaced it under warrenty and now mine will have this squealing sound everyonce in a while.
