Well I'm About To buy a stage 2 kit and currently looking for a dealer to install it. Well i call a local dealer to see how much it would cost, he wouldnt tell me b/c he has never seen a supercharged balt. Ok that was the first strike, but i keep talkin and he tells me that it will void all the warranty, i say well i talked to GMC and they told me that you the tech have to prove that it was the fault of the aftermarket parts. i say well what if i have it installed and later that week my right rear spring breaks yall will still cover that right, he says no that could be caused bc you added torque by installin the kit. I think this is a retard or something but yea what do yall think?

i know he was a dipshit... i talked to the dealer i bought the car from and the shop manager told me as long as i didnt completley mess up on my part they would work with me... and he quoted me 150 dollar install..... they havent ever did one but they looked at it and the tech said he's done aftermarket systems b4 on the side so im happy with it

 

I think you need to submit a letter to GM with a carbon copy to that dealer's manager asking why GMPP parts are advertised as being covered under warranty, and this idiot is telling you they're not.

Be sure to mention date, time, and name.

I would install your kit, and I dont know why this ******* wouldn't?
There is even a 'Labour Operation' with a set time in LTG for the kits.
Not only that, did he not realize that YOU were willing to pay him and that he wouldnt have to submit anything to GM?
This pisses me off as a dealer, because some dealers truly are stupid.
He must have been freshly hired from Jiffy Lube or maybe McDonalds.
LTG calls for 2.0 hrs for the install, and 1.3 for programming. Could be more depending how you want it tuned.
