Two questions:
1) What tools (knowlege) do I need to install my own 2.9 pulley.
2) My car "slips" really bad when going into second and sometimes 3rd. I don't think it's my clutch, it just doesn't have the same characteristics. Is there a way to tighten the pulley belt (especially after moving to a smaller pulley)?
**EDIT** - on the off chance that i'm wrong about #2 and the Stage2 just amplified my clutch wear that I already was aware of, I want to ask this question: Has anyone else had belt slippage... is this even a possible problem or is it DEFINITELY my clutch?

either get the stage 2 belt, which it seems you have since you have the stage 2, and or get an oversized tensioner pulley.

1. Special bit to remove the St. 2 pulley, 15mm (i think), or adjustable wrench to loosten the tensioner. I would break the bolts loose first while the belt is in. If you can't get them loose from it turning, put the car in gear. Hopefully they didn't loctite them on... Once they are loose, take the belt off the pulley, remove and replace with 2.9". Make sure the belt is on all the pullies, especially at the bottom. Using a crowbar may help, and having a extra set of hands helps too.
2. Sounds like clutch slip. How excatly does it "slip"? You bang 2nd and it doens't chirp, just slips? I have had a 2.9" on for a while and don't get belt slip at all. You don't need a bigger tensioner till you go under a 2.8" pretty much.
Side note.. why is this posted in the LNF section...

yes, i hit second and if I hit second hard I get wierd sound of my supercharger winding down and then boost builds up again. The RPMs drop and if I let off a little they pick back up. I want to get a new clutch eventually, but unfortuneatley don't have the money as of yet.
Side-note: because i constantly forget to check the full title of the section I'm posting in. The damn LNF isn't even out yet and we have a section for it... confuses the shit outta me everytime... I just saw "2.0..." and thought, yup, that's the one...lol
