when painting my bowtie...

i am gonna paint my front bowtie black, im gonna go to autozone and pic up some krylon paint or something, some plastic paint, do i need to do a clear coat as well??..thanks

wont hurt to clear it. but its not necessary. i did on mine if that helps

yea i have a black car im gonna paint it black, i figure black is pretty much black so i dont need the gm color match on this one just a black plastic paint...if its cheap enough ill pic up a clear coat can, will it jus add protection or make it shinier?

oh...and do i need to sand it at all?
