Anyone know where i can get a used trans at for like $600?

what happened to yours

 

i was just getting on to interstate in 2nd gear going about 55mph and i got on it and i went to put it in to 3rd and BOOM the thing blew up just like that. I dont kno if i missed 3rd or what

55000 miles is nothing. what is your powertrain warrenty? mine is alot more than that.

I've grenaded 2 trannys and both were third gear failures, so this doesn't surprise me. Look on the IRL forums and on the for sale forums here. Also check out Ebay. I got both my used G85 trannys for a grand or less. Good luck hunting.

I just did a quick search there and found one for 475 bucks near me at http://www.alsautopa.com/ Maybe you'll have the same luck near you.

 

wow that sucks....are you sure about your warranty on powertrain? I think mine is 5 year 100,000 mils. Maybe I am wrong....

 

I think that warranty came with the 07 model year. Anything older is probably stuck with the 3yr/36k bumper to bumper.

 

my 05 is 3/60km bumper to bumper, 5/100km powertrain.

call gm up and find out

 

My 08 is 5yr/60kmile bumper to bumper, I'll have to check on the powertrain.
