i was checking around on ebay and found a seller that sells all gmpp parts for all model chevys and has every gmpp part made for cobalts for much less than dealer cost, the sellers name is byersgmaccessories. i got me the cat back and the manifold and they both arrived brand new just like they were from the dealership, feel free to check it out.

what is the stage 2 fiasco?

 

a guy was stealing stage 2's from gm and was selling them for dirt cheap and a lot of people bought from him... until he got caught

 

does anyone know FOR sure he was stealing them or just using an employee purchase. I bought My S2 for 300 bucks cause my dad worked there lolz. he was selling them for like 400? lolz

 

i guess its possible but this guy has every part for every chevy model, i figured id throw it out their as an option for people

i guess while on topic how hard is the cat back and manifold to actually install? without a hoist

 

Im pretty sure the guy selling S2's got caught. Alot of us (including me) got emails from a police department from where the seller was shipping.

 

yea this dude seems to over price the chit out his stage 2 kits, same as dealership, i guess some of his prices arent too great

i found him but right now he only has one item for sale, and its for an aveo. unless im completely blind. i clicked on the cobalt link and only said he had one item in store.

Its not hard for the Cat back if you can fit under the car lol. I did mine myself. As for the manifold idk. I backed my car onto ramps and did it like that. I cut the stock one off and the GMPP is full bolt on.

serious, i have no problem buying stolen parts..... as long as i dont know its stolen, and it dosnt have any distinctive markings.
