Passenger Door Knock

It sounds like the passenger door knocks where it latches to the frame. However I cant seem to bang on the door when its closed and reproduce the noise. Its usually when I'm going 25 - 35mph over smaller bumps...oh also at like 2,800 - 3,200rpm I hear a rattle. The knock sounds more like plastic than metal. but deff on the passenger side rear-ish. The suspension is firm and feels great so I don't think its anything to do with that...however nothing is being ruled out at this point. But any ideas before i tear my door apart this weekend?

Well I found out what the knocking was...the passenger window regulator had a bolt that was backing out. So last Monday they fixed it up under warranty...but now it’s back and louder than ever. It sounds like the bolt fell completely out and is rolling around the bottom of my door...I'm gonna bring it in on Wednesday and tell them to locktite that thing before the window falls out.

I have the same problem time to time, but mine sounds like it comes from the left rear quarter panel, and I usualy hear it when I turn my car off and wait about 10 secs. then I hear the small knock?

That could be your evap unit cycling. It is usually a quick "knock-knock-knock" and happens either when you first start your car, or right after you shut it down, and it will do it more in hopt weather.

Mine does it sometimes, at stop light, about three blocks from the house. Is it normal? And is there anything we can do to lessen the knock or stop it?

I'm not sure about that stop light you're talking about. The service manager said that they had to replace the "sunroof module" whatever that is...they tried tightening the bolts first, but no change. I just picked it up today and am happy to say no more knock! Still have to work on the back seat squeak

Nope - you can get it checked by the dealer - but they will tell you that it is normal. There i nothing you can do about it.
