Painting hubcaps... what color?

I am going to paint my hubcaps black this week for ***** and giggles until I get my new wheels in. I was wondering if they would look best flat, satin, or gloss black? My guess is satin , but just getting others' opinions. Also, are there any pics out there from people who have already done this?

i thought about painting mine black until i could get my hands on a set of rims, which won't be for a while but wasn't sure how they'd look. judging by the pic 06LSbalt posted, they don't look so bad. any tips on what kind of paint to use?
