wrong vibrations

so i thought when everyone was talking about car vibrations from solid motor mount and tranny bushings i thought they ment like you will feel bumps from road and such..NONONO
i get insane vibrations from the motor itself..even when just idling my car is feels like its falling apart...i wish i knew those were the vibrations people ment..i hope this goes away..launches good though

I am dealing with the same problem right now. Does yours get tons louder as you accelerate?

i noticed the vibrations were more at low rpms when i filled my mounts, but my mounts probably still aren't as solid as the aftermarket ones. Definitely helped like brownbandit said launching and shifting are much improved

Sounds like bad motor mounts, or a bent axle..If it is none of those try a engine torque dampner to stabilize the engine

Tomorrow I will install the stock motor mount to see if the insane vibe goes away, if not then il put back on the stock tranny one, if that doesnt work then i know somethign is very wrong.

It's not bad mounts or axles... it's just the way it is with these mounts. You're feeling the vibration of the motor that the old mounts used to absorb. It'll get a little better, but not a whole lot. It's the price you pay to keep the drivetrain from flopping around like it does with the originals. Annoying as hell, but well worth it in my opinion! If you are still concerned there's a problem, take a ride over here to villa park and take a spin in my car to compare.

I have about 2000 miles on my trans mounts now and the vibrations are definitely not as bad as when I put them in, but they are still there and I hardly notice them now. Less wheel hop and better launches ftw!

he has a solid motor mount. it's just going to vibrate more.

you get used to it after a while. after a while you won't even notice it anymore. and if you're getting better traction, that's the trade off, vibrations. i only get them noticeably now when going very slow in gear.

It's normal and they will diminish slightly and you will get used to it.

Just enguage sooner on the clutch and it wont be as boggy, your probably not enguaging fast enough.

Anyways I removed my ZZP Motor mount and put in the stock one, so now i have the Stock motor mount and 2 ZZP Tranny mounts, and holy **** did the vibrations calm down.

ZZP Motor mount is just to damn stiff for me. I will try it again when the 2 tranny mounts break in fully, until then it is staying off!
