nah a lease is the same thing as a finance just a different way of financing the money..

ive talked to my dealer about this, i can do w/e the **** i want to my car, w/e brings the value down i will have to pay for, we discussed this..and all the mods i will have on it i can trade in like that and they will sell it like that, or i can take em off...its just that easy...

alot of people think a lease means your pretty much fucked for modding..thats not true, i know somone in town who has a 13's cobaltss and he is on a lease..and he is giving it back soon and wont pay a dime!

Hey man I have the GMPP exhaust and CAI and I just talked to the dealer yesterday about ordering a SS/TC and tradeing my car in for it. He told me with the Mods I got the tradein value will go up. GMPP wont void the warrenty eather.

you can do whatever you want on a lease except change the color of the car...My Aunt is a LEASE MANAGER at Pontiac...all that happens is you lose the money you put into the car, if you trade it in. If you're buying it out or re-financing it, you can do whatever you want to do to it.

I hate all these "oh don't touch it it's a lease" thing. guess what financing is? a different way of leasing...Try not making a payment on your "OWNED" car, when you're financing, see if they don't come grab "YOUR" car...lol

i am the business manager for a gm dealer and the best advice i can give you is to read your contract.
you can listen to what you want but the bottom line is whats written on the contract you signed.the info you need is on the back of your contract underexcess wear.

if you are planning to buy out your car at lease end i would feel free to mod whatever you want. if you plan to turn it in i would stick to mods you can return to stock. it's a grey area when it comes to mods on a lease because the inspection may not find find them however if the car is found to be other than stock you will get a bill.
