door panels and rear deck speaker replacements
Bought speaks all the way around the vehicle, but I have absolutely no clue as to how to pull the door panels off, or the rear deck. I've spent the past hour trying to attack the rear deck so i can pull the 6x9's out, but no luck at all.
Searched online for another 90 minutes for an installation guide, and of course, NO LUCK at all.
Pics by pics of how to pull it apart and drop in the new speakers please?! This has been a real big PITA

take the rear headrests off, there are two plastic clips when you fold the seats down. pop off the rear pillars and then is slides out, kinda tight but it works

I looked all over the net, google, yahoo, all the biggie search engines. Took me a good 90 minutes, then i surrendered and came here as a last resort. I searched other chevy forums, and people all had the same question as me, but no one to answer.

there are also 2 little clips in the back you'll be able see them if you look in your trunk and UP(closest to the window). Also the pillars don't need to be removed they are pretty easy to seperate you'll see when you push on the deck next to pillar.
I gutted my car and was going to do a huge "GUT" how-to but my son broke my camera.

well, at least there is positive support here after understanding my excessive scouting for information. I bought the speakers, and they are on the way. Some peeps have stated their 6.5's bolt right up w/o a bracket... now, what kind of a bracket will I need for the fronts?

yes the fronts are 6.5s but the are kind oddly shapped. they clip in and hold on by one bolt. i would, if possible get 6.75" front speakers so you have a litte more lip to work with on the mounting
