233 is kind of low for the mods and 3.0 you have.

hello everyone... I know I havent had time to post in this thread things have just been crazy at the shop lately which is great! have all kinds of builds going... including this project, a solstice gxp project car which can be see on our site, as well as a 08 dodge ram lift project! SO... with that said.

I know alot of you look at the car and say gee... that seems sort of low on power, well let me help with some clarification. I personally have been going back and forth with AEM on an issue we are having with spark cut at about 5200-5500 rpm, which is limiting us to 5,200 rpm pulls only on the dyno. With that said, we are working to fix this problem, This is the first 08 sport AEM has dealt with so we here at SMG are working with them to solve the issue so that down the road we can offer an F/IC that will work flawlessly with the 08 sport and other 2.4's. We have also discussed at SMG offering base setups/ start up tunes for F/IC customers as well and if there is enough interest with that we will make it happen.

NOW with all that said, this car is making awesome power at 5200 rpm. ON the last 2.4 supercharged build we did here (on pjk91's 2.4) the car made only 200 ish whp at 5200 rpm with the 3.35 pulley. now I WILL post a compasion dyno chart so everyone can phyisically see what I am talking about but the car is on target to safely make in the upper 240's if not 250 with the 3.0 pulley on a conservative daily street tune. So being at 233 whp at 5200 rpm with no SUBSTANTIAL issues with the f/ic as of yet aside from our spark cut we have deemed the build successful.

Now AEM engineers are working to help us find the fix and Im confident with in a week or so we will have updated numbers but again like I said, we are very pleased with the outcome and expect our final numbers to be very nice!

Just wanted to clear up the doubts on the build for glen's sake so STAY TUNED!!!!
