close enough. I think the four lights on a cobalt look better then the G5s those are to common, lots of cars just have 2 tail lights.. just my opinion..

 

Except there aren't really 4 lights. There are 2 tails and 2 reflectors with backup lights in them. When I drive behind a Cobalt coupe, I think 2 things: 1) Hey, that guy has 2 tail lights out, weird. 2)Hey, look, that car is trying to look like a Lexus IS.

 

So this means we can put a G5 trunk on our Cobalt right!?? SWEET

I honestly prefer the G5 rear as well. It looks cleaner to me as well. I keep hoping to either get rear ended or find a deal on a g5 gt rear end. that and it keeps all the skyline jokes at bay...

Will not work..the metal frame is different for the cobalt tails and the G5 tails..so unless your refabing the frame where your tails mount..you will fail like all the othhers

 

How would this look any different from a G5 with the cobalt front and rear diffuser?

 

I dont think so....Ive already seen this done once. And another guy who put a cobalt rear end on his G5. The cars are exactly the same....
