LS/LT w/ TC Springs

Thinking about purchasing some TC springs instead of lowering springs (ssc, zen, eibach).

How much will these drop my car? I'm mainly looking at them for a stiffer suspension, and they're half price of lowering springs..

If anyone has a photo of a ls/lt with tc springs that'd be great

They will definitely drop a little, 2.2 springs are for offroading from the factory. But like you say the bigger difference will be in the ride and stiffness.

i don't want to be too low, ive know all springs settle some

im sitting here looking at a stock 2.2 and a stock SS/TC and the ride height is night and day. i'd say the TC is about 3" lower in the rear, but is that from the spring or the shock?

Don't forget, the SC and TC cars have a lip on the back that sits closer to the ground than the base models.
68nova200 has it right, you will drop between 1" and 1 1/2" going from FE1 (LS/LT) springs to FE5 (SS/TC) and get a much firmer ride. It will drop a bit more in the back than the front as well.

The shock won't change the ride height but for full effect, get the TC shocks and struts as well, they will be properly valved for the stiffer springs and give you the best overall handling

I'm looking at wheel gap aka room from the top of the wheel to the bottom of the fender
Looks to be about 2" gap
On my LS, I have a 4-5" gap

These just sit right in without any other modifications ya?

The stock wheels / tires on the LS/LT are a bit smaller too, this will make the difference look even bigger. And yes, the gap on the rear of the FE1 cars looks like a 4x4

FE5 stuff will bolt right in, lots of guys (and gals) on here have done this with no issues.
Don't expect the gap to disappear but it will be less, the front and rear will be closer to even than the "cat in heat" jacked up rear on the FE1's

I'm sure someone on here has pictures of their LS/LT on TC suspension - help the op out here peeps

They will drop an LS/LT about .5-1" but you are forgetting the much better spring rates, and handling charactaristics.

I have my stock set available as well!

I will recommend the SSC springs to anyone looking to get an aftermarket spring with close to stock ride quality and a good drop!

stock ss/tc springs. i don't want to be too low, especially with NY winters, but i dont want to be 4x4 anymore.
I think the TC springs will give me a bit of a drop, and stiffen up the handling a lot

yeah you will prolly see about .5" to 1" of drop. but the ride will be a bit stiffer, and the squat and body roll will be greatly reduced!

There was someone looking for the color of the tags, they're purple and white (2x purp, 2x white)
