Sup fellas,

I think Cobalt SS's are pretty nice rides, especially the turbo versions. Really solid ride and setup nice from the factory. I have an Altima 3.5SE and recently smoked a SS/SC on a couple races we setup on the fly on a rural road around town here in Wichita Falls. A couple SS owners on my forum, nissanclub.com, don't really believe me, so I'd like to meet up with another SS/SC owner to make a run or two and have some fun. It is all in good spirits and in pride in our cars. I'd be down for a turbo run(which should walk me), but specifically a couple SC owners are really doubting my story, so I'd like to back it up with a video if possible against another SC owner. It'd be even better if you are stage one to make my original story even better. If I get beat, that's cool and I will post the vid and story.

So anybody from Wichita Falls or Fort Worth wanna meet up sometime??? Let me know!

his car trap 98-101 mph from what i can tell, i would say its a 101 car with his mods, but his track time states 98, however conditions werent good, neither were tires... 101 is right in the area of a i/h/e ss/sc

 

really? i **** on my buddy kays 03 max everytime were he gets all butt hurt when we get on the highway together i find it funny lol im onlystage 2

 

the 03 max were the fastest to date... they can trap 98-99 mph

 

im pretty sure dannysauer would give u a run for ur money or better yet hatrickstu lol

 

im not talking **** about my buddys car its a really nice sedan i would def drive it and its fast its just a funny thing he gets butt hurt about but that the heavyer altima is faster than a lsj idk dude thats like a rental car

and altima 3.5 are quick in manual... cvt, not so much

 

to date really? the brand new ones are very sharp and have you seen the price tag on them 38000 get the **** outta here its a nice car but not 40 grand nice

 

true there is much better value out there, and yes the 03 have achieved the best track times and trap speeds.... ths is due to the fact that they came with a 6 speed manual and are 200-300 lbs lighter with 255 horsepower instead of 290...

from a roll cvt is tuned to fall on its face after 100 mph... with a tune and some headwork and bolt ons the engine in the new maxima can easily get to 310-320 whp

 

ill do it, i drive a redline not a ss/sc. same engine. im not stock, bascily a stage 2.

Awesome. A stock TC should walk me pretty good but I'd still be down for sure, and I'd like to check out your ride. I'm actually meeting up with a guy with a stage 2 Redline ion tonight north of forth worth. Hit me up if you wanna cruise along, haha. I'll PM ya.

We made a post about it, and I'm working on getting vids to work on youtube. There will be more in the future... should be able to face up with a stock SS/SC on video in a few weeks. The redline is stage 2+

I'm new to the forum but I have a 2002 3.5 altima in wichita falls with an 02 maxima motor and JWT 15lb flywheel and Exedy clutch but last night I ran a SC, and a TC and the TC beat the crap out of us but I beat the SC. We went from a 40 roll cause i have bad tires.

 

cool man. I wonder if that was the TC I ran... black. We should get together to see how our VQs compare.

Both balts i raced were black the TC had blacked out rims and the SC had Regular Stockers but yeah my Altima isn't running the best right now i'm taking to tomorrow to get it looked at i'm getting CEL codes out the ass.. but hopefully tomorrow it will all be fixed!!
