Sun roof bezel broke, AGAIN. Now warranty is up.. Read
So that piece that goes around my sun roof button fell off again. Haven't touched it since the last time I had the dealership fix it. That was at about 34k miles, so it was under warranty no problem... Yesterday while I was driving I hit a pot hole, nothing major. Anyway, that piece fell off again. Now I am at 43k miles and I'm scared the dealership wont fix it again. But I'm looking at it like this, they fixed it once, and it broke. Makes me think they'll fix it because evidently they didn't do something right the first time..
What do you think?

i have been driving with out mine for the past 4 months! i gave up on it. just take it to the dealer and ask and if they wont cover it then glue it on...or duct tape, whatever your preference
Im In Texas And My Dealership Finally Got It Right Said There Is A New Bracket That Replaces The Stock One I Paid Only For The Part $11.00 But It Has Not Fallen Off Since. It Has Lasted Of Six Months.
i bought my ss/sc about two weeks ago and i noticed my cover is loose...i pulled it a little and its hot glued on to the headliner... mines underwarranty for an intake gasket right now, so im having them look at that too while its there
i put two blobs of clear silicon on the plastic clips (not the part that touches the liner) and then stuck it up in the headliner. Taped it and let it sit for a day or so.
Been up there fine since then.

mine too falls off

Silicon will hold it perfectly, yet if you need to take it off later you can just pull a little and get it off, if you super glue it you might just end up damaging it if you ever need to take it off again. You can get little squeeze tubes from the hardware store, if you don't have a caulking gun or a tube of silicon lying around.
Last time mine fell off (which was like the 4th time it had happened) they replaced mine with the new bracket. Mine hasn't fallen out since. I took the headliner down the look at the piece, and it is a major improvement over the crappy stock bracket that was in there from the factory.
