Allright everyone, I need to know how many people are interested in coming to socal for a show and shine at Irwindal Speedway some time in March. Please post if you think you might make it. I will hammer down the details and get back to everyone.

 

I'd be interested.. Is this a Cobalt meet or an all car meet? I haven't found any Cobalts on the west coast

This will be a cobalt only show. I am hoping to get all the west coasters together. That is if we all have are cars by then. this could be later in the year if need be. I just think it would be cool to have a good showing in front of a big crowd at this racetrack. The track loves to host clubs of all kinds of cars. I would love to be the first cobalt group to show there. Also it would be a good plug for CobaltSS.net.

 

You better make it May to be safe...most people probably won't have their SS's by March.

I'm up for it in March...coming from Orange County, CA be waiting for info...I grew up in Pasadena not too far from Irwindale. Used to cruise Whittier many moons ago. Where do they cruise now?

 

i wonder how hard it will be to swap out the spendals and rear setup off the ss s/c and put it on the base models i know theyre different lug patterns so swapping everything might work.

 

I dont know if you guys are interested, but my friends are throwing a Car show in Indy on July 8-9, 2005. This event use to be the J-Body Bash the last seven years, but we have branched out this year to GMs other cars.

Yes it does, but we get cars from all over the place. A couple drive down from Vancouver, BC. and change their oil about half way here at a truck stop. Heck last year we had it in Lordstown OH. and we were all pretty much from St. Louis. Took us 12 hrs, with a few stops.

 

hmmm... im from el monte, about 5 miles from the irwandale speedway. so thats not too far for me. i guess i could join if i get my car by then.

 

Just wanted to check in with everyone in the west, I know a few people have there cars now so whos interested?? post a reply here so I can get a head count to track. I thinking about a late July date.
