I went up there today after just buying my 2.8 pully, hub, injectors, belt. And i talked to my dad i think were gonna try to trade it in and they offerd me 10,000 for my car. Wich isnt That bad but it still kinda low. They said there gonna get ahold of the finance people in the morning and they let me keep it over night. I guess ill hear from them in the morning if its a go or not.

Yeah no kiddin. It has only 41k miles on it and everything is prefect except the scratches on the front lip from dragging and the small dents here and there. Most of everything was there when i bought the car 9 months ago for 17k

Try to figure out how long it's going to take you to recover the 4-5K EASILY lost by doing this trade in. The economy sucks which is exactly why you shouldn't just throw away that much money. Sell your car privately...

I didn't even realize you are a local...I wouldn't buy from that dealership anyway

yea really if you paid 17k for it 9 months ago i would think you still owe at least 14k which is gonna make your 09 cost 29,005 and its not worth that much stick w/ the ss/sc for a lil longer

Exactly...at least someone has some sense around here.

Or at least try to sell it out right to an individual

well ill tell u the problem..
#1. you threw away 7 thousand dollars a year ago
#2. your going from paying a little over $200 a month to mid 400s for practically the same ******* car.. i mean it just doesnt make sense to me why anyone would go from paying $200 a month driving a cobalt to like $440 a month and still driving a cobalt.. if you sold the car yourself for like $15k you could go out buy somthin much nicer and have the same payments. #1 tip is BE PATIENT.
