09 ss boost problems

Here's the deal .. I have an 09 ss with catless dp, drop in filter, intercooler, forge atmospheric bov, and the trifecta tune that is supposed to not have to be retuned "" per what I was told by trifecta....

Not long ago I blew a hole in my intercooler and as I drove it until I got the new one in I would throw codes 234 for wastegate control solenoid circuit, and a 299 for underboost.. until the intercooler blew a hole I never had an issue.. after the hole in the intercooler came along the car would drive as expected with the boost leak but at time would only give 2 or 3 lbs and other times 14 or so. It would come out of nowhere for example getting up to speed in traffic or just cruising you would feel the obvious transfer from boost to no boost, sometimes it would be accompanied by the two codes other times it would not..

After the new intercooler has been installed for 3 or 4 days it pulled hard and never gave out.. now for the last couple of days it has been cutting out again but will not throw any code and it seems to happen around the same rpm range generally in 3 or 4 but sometimes 2ND gear...

Any kind of help will be appreciated guys and thank you

Have you tried a boost leak test since putting on the new IC?

I had a chance today looked for a boost leak with no luck Checked on all of the connections on the wastegate solenoid and now there is 0 to maybe 5 lb and no inconsistencies there is just a no power.. on the plus side it started throwing a code again for p0243

Yeah boost leak sounds like the most likely cause.

The Trifecta ECP tune is garbage, I blew my motor on it.

Well I purchased the solenoid and wastegate and replacing those today and I'm going to try and get my car retuned by trifecta for now. As far as the boost leak goes i have spent a lot of time trying to find one and could not. I checked the solenoid out n tapped on it onve or twice and then completely lost all boost and throwing a constant p0243 so i made the $500 risk for nonrefundable parts haha. I've had the ecp tune for like two years now never had an issue really until this. Why would you say the ecp tune blew your motor?

Well changed out the solenoid and checked all electrical connections Also thoroughly checked out the charge piping connections again and found no leak.

Still no boost but runs a little better.. I am lost on this one. Could it be the wastegate itself? I do have one sitting here for the car but was not going to install it if it did not need to be changed, as it looked like a bitch without removing the turbo

Trifecta budget tune TECHNICALLY blew my engine. When ever I would miss a gear when I was NLSing from a shitty clutch, it would knock with all that fuel in the engine and mess up the piston slightly every time.. Finally I started to get misfire codes and smoke come out when I would let off the throttle after a pull one night I was suspicous I should have stopped.

Did 1 more race and missed 3rd again with a NLS and all that fuel finally decided to crack my piston and now i'm buying a new long block for ease. Trifecta runs really rich for a GDI tune....

Wait for the hate and bad driver comments.

Damn that sucks. I'm waiting to do a motor build once it gets all paid off but till then slowly upgrading things I will reuse.. as far as this issue goes I'm thinking the wastegate is maybe seized up because after replacing the solenoid it runs better but only spools to about 5 to 6 lb where as before it would spool up to 1 or 2 lb leading me to think it's the wastegate.. Any second opinions from some of the more experienced members would be awesome.
