this dude with his ms3 on 18psi intake turboback and cobb stage 1 flash has been talkinn summm shitt...i ran him when i was bone stock..from a 40 i jumped him about 3 quarters of a car then he came back up about 1 car in front then once i started reving out my forth i started comn back up on him hard...i now got a few parts...(stock tune) but still i think i can rape that **** now...charge piping intake n 3 in catless dp...what you guys think?

 

your new parts wont help you if your on a stock tune..

 

ms3's arent that quick i beat a intake, dp, and fmic ms3 with forged internals making 290whp/300wtq. in my car when i had less mods that barely pulled on a stock tc

what color is the car..... i raced one coming down 75 i have downpipe, intake, muffler delete, dejon bpv spring..... and got beat by one with similar mods by like 2 cars

nah the one that beat me was white, it had angled exhaust..... was pretty fast but definitely tuned....i know for a fact that once i get tuned ill deff beat him

uhhh no. They then lied to you. No ms3 owner in their right mind would have forge internals and not a bigger turbo making near 400whp. 290whp is easily done with bolt ons.

the ms3 gearing is horrible to start a roll at 40mph. Hell I bet a intake ms3 vs stock tc the ms3 would win. both stock and both modded similar is a pretty good race.

 

The ECU is programmed to control air load, it makes 260 hp, 260 ft lbs torque because of this target. If you make mods to let it breathe more, like intakes & exhausts, it still targets the same air loads and cuts the turbo back some to hit the same goals.

Tuning can raise the goals. Oversimplified, but close enough. HTH.

lol hes told me and so has his friends. he got forged internals after he blew his motor so he would be able to hit 400whp on a GT35 turbo. he made 290whp the next day

 

well i know i raced the same ms3 im talkin about with my rsx before i got the ss t/c..he had a cai n boost controller on 19psi..i had i/rh/e/kpro n was tearin that **** up .lol he is such a hater too..n thinks havin this other queer driving for him is guna make a difference..but he learns the hard way

A bolted MS3 alone would beat you. The forged internals who cares, with those bolt ons he should be running a Cobb stage2+ tune NOT the stage1 tune and be over 300whp easy. so you saying they arent fast is well biased as you raced a **** ms3. With forged internals, those mods and a tune he should be welll into the 300whp's.

 

he didnt have a tune tho that ik off. i had gm stg2, intake, full exhaust, and 100lbs of weight reduction.
he had another person in the car i didnt

 

damn i got the OP messed up with you about who had the stage 1 flash.

But at any rate even with his bolt ons a ms3 should take a SS no problem stock. Heck even a intake on a ms3 and it would beat a ss stock otherwise both stock or both modded, really depends on weight and what roll speed as the ms3's 6speed kinda blows for roll's

 

When my car was stock my co-workers MS3 w/Intake had no issues with the Cobalt on the roll. It wasn't insanely faster, but I couldnt catch him and he was pulling. He even gave me a nice oil smoke show to prove it.

Not raced him again since buying HPT.

 

To the OP, you'll lose. MS3s are a driver race stock. I beat one with a test pipe and BOV.

Yeah any mods vs a stock tune tc, tc would get eaten, though not by too much if the driver can drive. A car, car and a half. I managed to pull one (bad driver) with intake, turbo inlet, mount, 2 extra pounds of boost, and a turbo XS FMIC. I jumped him and he couldn't catch me. The next time we met I had parts and tuned and he got eaten.

Both tuned with the same parts and stuff, the tc would win I think. The MS3s are sadly having issues getting over 300, and if they do its kind of barely if I remember correctly from the forums. Its like 290-298 fully bolted, with a tune 300-310...then turbo 400! lol so few in betweens.

But yeah don't underestimate the MS3s, they're no slugs.
