Maven posted some info on his forum. Quote:
The CXL Turbo gets the low pressure "LNF" which called LHU. 220hp, it should be E85 compatible.
The GS gets the more serious higher pressure engine, identical mechanically to the LHU, they keep changing RPO codes, so I dont know it right now, but its 255hp/295tq or so still.
The "normal" Regals get 296mm/11.65" by 30mm thick front brakes (same diameter but thicker than IRL/SC brakes) and they get 292mm rear brakes (SS/TC sized)
The turbo cars gets ginormous 321mm/12.63" by 30mm front brakes and almost equally huge 315mm/12.4" rear brakes, the CXL should have normal calipers and blank rotors, the GS Brembos and drilled rotors(maybe.....) probably upped in size to a ridonkulous 356mm, but maybe not.
The "normal" Regals wont have the Hiper Strut front suspension.
The manual trans cars get the 6speed double overdrive F40 box.
Two interior colors: Jet Black, Light Neutral(Cashmere?)/Cocoa/Sienna(depends on cloth or leather what the actual combo is...I dont have all the details yet)
Two interior trim styles: Piano Black, Kibo Wood
Available colors: Technical Grey Metallic, Switchblade Silver, Imperial Blue, Red Jewel Carbon Flash, Olympic White, Black, Pannacotta Mica,Stone Metallic, Waterworld Blue, Magic Red (not sure what colors are CXL and what are GS, and whats import only and whats NA made)
More when I find it Some of this may change depending on whether or not the car is a German built pilot or Canadian built production car, and of course everything changes all the time.

Buick has class.
In way its cars like the cobalt(4cyl FWD Platform)that are killing brands like Buick and the already chopped Pontiac, that are making people say "o its an old person's Car", These cars had style and ***** back in the day, Nows its over.

I thought that was pretty funny. Still had some ***** in the day. The Grand National was it's own animal.
occsdude - Back when all the auto makers could sustain themselves, they had their own vehicles. Even though Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac all had 455s, each engine was unique.

Besides the fact it is a Buick , most people de-badge cars these days anyway. If they don't have an AWD system in it. Just retarded, Low profile tires suck ***** in snow so why make it FWD anyway ?

and buick also offered "Stage Kits" for the GSX, but they werent PCM upgrades and pullies, they were headers and cyl heads and the parts were just put in the trunk for dealer installation. Also the Regal T Type, which is the same as the GN, but availible in different colors.

I would take this in a heart beat! AWD, Brembos, 19's, 6 spd, looks great, LNF (already started a aftermarket for it), gas mileage, and I know it will be comfortable it's a Buick.

keep in mind this was before GM forced it's divisions to go corporate, so unlike today, when you went to drive a different divisions version of the same plat form, they didn't only differ by tail lights and an add on grille...
you would be very hard pressed to find any parts other than the door lock knobs that were shared between the different divisions cars...

Damn! Who'da know it would turn into a love fest for old cars...?
The (New) GS is based on the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia. In Car magazine (British) they said it sucked badly even in turbo V6 form, due to the engine and gearbox under performing. Not as good as an Audi. They liked the interior and handling, said the steering lacked feel etc.
Apart from a few styling things it's nearly the same car. I wonder if it'll have the same handling with the Ecotech engine?
