Why not put the 3.6l DI motor in it, like the bottom camaro or the nicer CTS??

Its a pretty good motor....... but I know we all like forced induction, something sexy about it.
People are boosting that motor to 505 HP stock ..

It sounds to me like you would like a Caliber SRT4 - forget all the flack it gets around here, they're great little cars;
1) 4 door pseudo wagon
2) <3500#
3) 6 speed
4) can get stage kit(s)
5) iirc 'base' SRT4's came in cheaper than the 'base' SS/TC's
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Caliber#SRT4

No offense to the HHR guys, but IMHO this thing kills the HHR SS in pretty much every catagory.[/QUOTE]

I absolutely hate Dodge with all of my soul, haha, I had a durango and it was the worse experience of my life.

Also I wanted to buy something new or cpo, basically a warranty. And buying used turbo cars, (ESPECIALLY CHEAPER ONES) you just know they get beat on, no matter what the owner says. heck I take great car of my car, but i still wouldnt want to buy it from myself .

I had the opportunity to by the TC sedan before i got my coupe, and I just couldnt do it, looked to much like a reg cobalt.

My buddy has a saab Turbo-x and it IS awesome. Thats why this setup made me think it would be a good continuation of it in mass form, or just replace their reg 2.0t they had going, which is a relative of the lsj i believe.

That was my car before the Cobalt. 2.0T SE. It had a **** ton of top end on it after I had it Jack Stoll tuned. The Trionic 7 Ignition system was weird to say the least though.

I know there was a lot of talk about the 442 and the Saab, but please don't forget that GM was way ahead of its time in the late 80's with the GNX. It came with a Turbocharged V6, underated at 275HP and 360 ft/lb of torque.
