Hello

Changed air filter to KN Panel...I notice a squeaking noise under boost (sounds like a squeaking clutch pedal but its not)...it usually makes noise under boost when I shift gears or let off gas...Is this normal...I had not noticed over the previous couple of weeks. Only thing I did was change air filter on stock airbox and its resealed...thanks

 

Just to add info: I get the noise when I I lift gas pedal to shift (under boost prior to shifting) or just rev it to say 4K in 2nd gear then let off the gas I get the same noise.

 

you sure its not the Bypass valve ?? lol

 

If it sounds like someone kicking a puppy, that's just the BPV.

 

you're letting in more air with that filter. That's going to cause the bpv to react a little more aggressively.

ive read a couple threads by hydro before..i think he was trying to have a full blown temper tantrum about one of the mods on this site..cant remember tho,i stay out of the craziness lol
