Moving on to bigger and better is always a good thing ! I'm trying to show the guy's at Superchips that there is interest in a 93 tune. I would be nice to have.

I run only 93. I have not purchased a tune YET. I have seriously considered the superchips, but not if it's not for 93 Octane.

I think they should make you a 93 octane version... and actually give you the option for one a bit more aggressive!

I've got the Superchips tune and am really enjoying it - the car feels a good bit faster than stock. But it's a little touchy and feels rough sometimes at full throttle. I'd like to see some work done on the standard 91 tune first, but a 93 octane tune would be great too, if it made significant (more than 10hp) gains over 91. I always fill up with 94 octane anyhow

Edit: I've read that the Superchips tune is a pretty mild modification of the stock tune, and it does feel like a lot of the stock limits are still in place. Boost is way up, but I don't think the timing and fueling tables have been changed much if at all, so I wonder if there's more work to do to really take advantage of 93 octane.

Nah...two words...torque management...Superchips didn't change those tables at all from stock.

Yep there was a thread on on Superchips forum that was talking about torque management and how they don't mess with the tables . I don't think they are very aggressive on the timing either , I'm sure there is a lot they could do if they wanted to ......but if **** starts breaking there goes their rep. I would imagine superchips is prolly the "safest tune" available for the LNF right now.

The torque management isn't the problem... it's the lack of airload and timing changes.

Torque management just helps relay the power to the ground.

im hopin they do just got it for mine and the 91 tune is pretty sweet i run 93 anyway but to be specifically tuned for it and maybe a few other adjustments would make a decent gain and it would be free if u already have the tuner. now if only they would make a 100 oct unleaded one lol

I like mine but I'm gunna be looking else where shortly . I'm hoping they put out a 93 tune and add 10-15 WHP (wishful I know) and maybe it would hold me over till next spring . My car will be parked for winter so i might just wait to change the tuning till then .....BUT then again .... i might just end up with trifecta for this fall or make a trip to badbb like i was supposed to do this summer. 8P
