Aeroforce Interceptor???

To those with the Aeroforce Interceptor, what display color did you go with? I am torn between the white and the red. I searched but didnt find much except the functionality of these gauges. I appreciate any input, comments, and pictures. Thanks!

I went with the white display. As for pics, I'd post some , but I don't have it installed yet.

I'd do red backlight or writing. It won't mess up your night vision. That's why airplane cockpits have red reading lights mounted in the cockpit for viewing maps and things.

Wow, thanks for all of the responses so far. What color looks closest to stock? I know it wont match 100% but I am looking for something that will blend well.

How is the black with red? From the pictures it looks more like lighter red on darker red.

I have the red, it may just be me but the red seems almost more amber than red.

Blue is too bright in my opinion, especially if you are mounting it in the a-pillar.

I went with white/black (sorry about the image size)

How does the white/black look when reversed? I am thinking of going with the white display color but having it on the black display/white character setting.

Here is my Black bezel, black face, red lighting and you can reverse the lighting.

Ignore the Pink, my camera is on the fritz.

This may be a silly question that's been answered before..but is there a way to make the interceptor read ACTUAL boost pressure and not just what the ECU thinks it is?

Not that I know of. You'll need a manual gauge for that

Yes. There are two manual inputs on an interceptor that can be used for any electric sensor - so you could hook up an electric boost sensor into the interceptor and use one of the two inputs for that. Why, are you boosting beyond what the stock sensor can read? The boost level is not an estimated level, its pulling it from the MAP sensor...

If that were true then people wouldn't be getting two different readings between the car's MAP and a separate electrical or physical boost gauge. Vince's Infiniboost set of tunes puts even more shadows of doubt on this too. People have been showing 21-22psi on stock gauge/RPD and the correct 25.5psi on their own boost gauge.

I believe after digging through the ECU, Vince has even stated he found that it is in fact calculated, though he hadn't figured out how at the time of his post. He must have since then, since he's now able to put a "virtual clamp" on it with the Infiniboost tunes to allow for surpassing the max psi without causing limp mode.
