I've found it's actually better to use something less viscous like synthetic motor oil more so than grease tbh. The grease tends to get more and more viscous over time and leads to sticking issues. This really goes for any plunger style bov for that matter.
As far as the stock bpv not holding boost, I'm curious as to how you came to that conclusion. By design, it's just not possible. If your stock bpv can't hold boost pressure then either the diaphragm is torn or something else is going on.

Yeah ive had it for like 4 months now used about 2 table spoons worth using it for other stuff as well lol i just picked it up reading thats what Forge says to use. I just dont get how ppl run it for 10k+ miles befor re-greasing it and i get a code 3 times in 4 months for it they must not run there car much/ hard lol But again only the drag strip where im sure its getting hot as fk.
When u take it out clean it really well dont take it off the turbo just unscrew it where the hose connects. Make sure there isnt to much grease under the orings or on the end of it. I threw a little inside it and on the plunger/orings this time and code went away by itself so it must be cycling right

No not where the spring is but the inside of the housing that stays in the turbo when u unscrew it thats what holds the spring so be carefull after that take ur finger slide the plunger out put some on the plunger/orings and some on the inside where it goes back in you will see when u take if off then slide it in a out a few times by hand then check it to see if its gunked up to much . i pretty much only re-grease it after the drags lol cuz of the codes driving around 2 months no issue till last Saturday at the strip. Being to light handed made it where off very fast o didnt put any on the inside befor this ether just the plunger so im thinking there wasnt enough to keep the heat incheck and it faded away

Ok so i finally relubed my forged bpv on tuesday and i ended up using valvoline multipurpose grease it has a rating of 400°F. I still have to buy it tho used tge one from school
Make sure the grease is good for low temperatures too. Wouldn't want it getting stuck and the next weakest link in the system going pop.
Luckily I haven't had to re-lube my forge VTA yet. Around 15,000km on it and I'm pretty sure the VTA would go through grease faster than the BPV will.
