AutoWerks 55/57 kit installed
Finally I got my car back after such a long time. But I have to say Nick at BYT did a great job. Because of problems with fuel flow, on the dyno it measured 410whp and 390wtq and he's suggesting me to install a meth kit. I put many other parts in my car, I will try to take pix over the weekend, but I'm very happy with my car.
Hopefully I will post some pix for you guys very shortly. The kit is amazing. Can't wait to post the pix over the weekend.
I would like o thank everybody for their support.

The kit is rated up to 535hp, depending of the internals you have. My engine is bone stock, I was running 440hp on the dyno but the car was having problems to keep up with the fuel flow, so Nick lowered the turbo and it is now measuring 410whp, but he said that if I install a bigger fuel pump or a meth kit, it can go at around 440-450hp with no problem

not bad. yea id stick below 450whp just for reliability reasons, which is why i picked up the BNR gt2871 instead of going for a bigger snail.
as far as fuel pump or meth kit, id opt for the meth kit. keeps things nice and cool. very safe too as long as you dont run out of meth while doing a pull.

It was about $ 4500. Plus I put the Hahn FMIC, clutchmaster stage 4 with the flywheel, custom exhaust by BYT with HKS muffler, Eibach swaybars, Pedders coilovers w/camber plates, 15mm wheel spa cers in front and 8mm in the back, R1 concept premium rotors, Hawk HP+ pads and brake lines from zzp, TTR motor mount and OTTP stage 2 tranny mounts, NGK coldest spark plugs, black cat custom gauges, a bunch of autometer gauges that are not install yet.
Over the next couple of years I will do the engine. Thinking of Wiseco pistons, Carrillo H rods, Darton sleeves, head/cams kit from zzp with oversized valves and springs.
But still, it will be in a couple of years. I think it's got enough power now to be enjoyed for a long time. I will do a stereo system before the engine anyway.
I will also post soon the pic of the dyno sheet.
Thank you guys for the interest. Again, the job by BYT was really impressive.
Bye guys all

I didn't think fuel would be an issue, but it was dropping rail pressure around 6k when we turned it up passed 24psi. Im not running the car rich or anything, so it was def surprising that was the issue. But if we ran some meth on it that would help aid the fueling for now. I suggested it as a cheap, quick fix. A upgraded HPFP and possibly in-tank pump will def be in order tho in the near future!
You can see it dip here a lil then jump up quick when the fueling caught back up. I tried some trickery with the injection timing and rail pressure ramping like we do with E cars, it helped slightly but still dropped the rail pressure. He must have a weak one or something! I saved the log from it also, Ill post a screenie later on.
And Thanks Christian, Im glad you are liking the car. It really drives nice and is a lot of fun! Did you get the outer tie-rods fixed BTW??

When it was dropping rail pressure did you hear any noises from the car....my car on 25lbs will have blowout and were not sure if its the plugs or fuel issue. Is there anyway to tell if its fueling like watch the pressure on the rpd or log it with hpt?

Thanks dude! Yo, I drove a GTI of a friend of mine, and I was thinking of what you wrote on your first post when you signed up on this website to introduce yourself, and I was thinking "Damn I wonder how Fastgti69 felt about the Cobalt interiors after leaving his GTI" lol. But then I said to myself that probably the power didn't make you think of that too much. But I loved the interiors of the GTI like I couldn't even believe. Really a beautiful car. It is a shame that has only 200hp, they could have done much better!! 20 years ago when I was a teen ager and still lived in Italy, my father owned a 1990 GTI G60, it was 1.8 supercharged and it had 160hp, I would think that after 20 years, on a 2.0 turbo, they could have got much more than that. I don't know if there is a reason for not having the same hp of the other 2.0 turbo cars, but it's really a shame!! Really a beautiful car!!

On another note. I want to see a speedo vid of what 400whp feels like!

Bryce - your car was doing that because the line was off the WG and the boost was spiking VERY high lol. You weren't having fuel issues otherwise.
You can tell in teh logger or on the RPD tho, just watch the Rail Pressure. You will see it drop below 1000psi when you are running out of fuel.
