But on the streets from a dig, there's no way. Haha. I'm scurrrred.

Even at a drag strip, serious driver mod and the right setup.....tell me, if beating that STi, the reaction won't be "Dafuq" and confusion? Then you won't even have to think about the street when you have actual numbers to show what you can do.

If it's a 2.0L its a older WRX, nothing to worry about... but an upgraded STi which is a 2.5 should be running mid 20's PSI .. and if its a 30R or 35R ur looking at 400-440whp.

Dafuq is my initial reaction on any wrx/sti launch. They're awd. It's kinda expected when they take off. But a 2.0 Sti isn't a big deal. I've pulled on multiple at the strip. But a 2.5 Sti is a different story. It's harder to catch them.

Don't get me wrong they are still nasty but there definitely is a difference in the motors and it shows. I've ran my car multiple times at the strip and I have slips to prove it. I've also sadly enough illegally street raced.

lol @ people that hate roll racing. noone cares.

there are many forms of racing get over it. some people aren't concerned with who the better driver is... some just want to see who's car is the fastest and not have to worry about blowing axles and transmissions from a hard launch.

OP race and find out. some are fast some aren't. worst case scenario he wins and you can say.. ya so what? you paid twice as much for your car.. what did you expect would happen?

if you win laugh at him for the same reason.

Roll racing gives way to bad drivers as well. I've gotten slammed in roll races by higher hp sti's and mustangs, only to beat comparable cars from a dig because they can't drive or launch there car..

I agree roll racing is a joke, it's just something that came about when two cars met on the highway at 50mph and couldn't stop for a dig isn't it?

That gtr is fastttttt, too bad the *** made it look like a giant piece of **** with his appearance mods.

so roll racing is like fapping it gets the job done, and actual racing is sex with a female.

Yep, these guys are fapping it alright.....

inb4 'those are high hp cars you can't compare that!'

IMO OP, do what you want. Don't listen to people on the internet about how you want to race your car. Its YOUR car, and these people telling you to race from a dig won't be paying for it if/when you break something. Do you, and let the narrow-minded think like they want to think.

Not getting in an argument with a narrow minded person who can't agree to disagree because they're on their soapbox with their opinion as their bible. Anywho.

OP...race him how you want to race him.

The 2.0 only came in the 02-05 wrx. STi's have always came with a 2.5 here in america
