Is it possible to straighten out a bent axel?

possibly yes, but it probly wont be 100% and will cause wobble and be dangerous...time for a new one!

How did you bend it?

And I think that would be pretty difficult to do you would have to talk to a body shop that does frame repairs I would imagine.

ouch my that happen to my friend except he got pushed into a curb hit it right in a drive way so it jump and it was a expedition so it left nascar style tire rub around his fender lol

no u cant straighten it 100% like stated... and even if u did the metal will be brittle in the space where it was bent and more prone to break down the road (i work at a body shop so i guess u can use me as a resourse)

The rear axle on these cars is fairly substantial and if you hit something hard enough to bend it, chances are you bent the body where the axle is mounted to it too. I would have the whole car checked out if I were you.
