best pcm

im not pulling boost which may also be a ic problem but I'm throwing a pcm fault code so i was gonna replace my factory pcm.. everything is stock on my car I'm wondering what pcm would be best to replace it with. only future modes would be bolt on

really? i mean i wouldn't mind having the boost increase of an aftermarket. any specific reason you suggest the stock replacement?

You can still tune the stock PCM for whatever bolt ons you get. So stock would be best. Stock PCM with a tune, which can/will increase boost.

Are you serious? If you use any other pcm like megasquirt or summit then it won't pass an inspection and you would need a hell of a setup to even need to think about that route. The factory pcm is tuneable.

No clue, LOL. I ordered my replacement EVAP solenoid and other stuff on gmpartsdirect. So they might sell a PCM too, but again not sure.

sorry bro I'm new to this. okay so i can tune my stock if i wanted.. now if its throwing pcm fault .. should i replace it or is it possible just to have it reflashed?

If you want a tune now you can always contact ZZP and have them send you one of theirs with a tune already stored on it.

I'd get it reflashed first. Someone did have one for sale but don't know if it's still up, I'll check.

yeah i seen something about that earlier.. and someone else said they are reliable. that sounds good.
