Best time to buy?
I am looking to buy a new cobalt ss/tc sedan. It is not needed at this point, but I'll need to trade in my current beater for a cobalt ss (or a different one possibly) in the next 6 months. I really like the new cobalts from what I've seen and I don't want to miss out. Is GM planning a 2010 cobalt SS/TC sedan? Does anyone know if they will be the same model or different?
If a 2010 model is planned, when will they be out by the summer of 2009?

Why is the sedan leaving?
If the new mazdaspeed 10 and a new cobalt come out later this year, I will still get good deals on the old ones then and be able to have a wider choice of colors and options if i get a newer one than I currently have. I really don't need the car right now because of deployment, but again I don't want to miss out.

They are building the cruze. Its gonna be turbo'd as well but less hp & smaller engine. The interior will be nice. here is a link with pics: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/21/g...1-chevy-cruze/

Im working on a deal with a local dealership to buy a 09 Cobalt SS TC here tonight.
GM is so desperate to sell cars, that they are offering the Red Tag sale (about $1,000 off) and the dealership is offering about $1700 off. So, right now is an excellent time to deal, and get a great price on a Cobalt SS TC !
Im suprised how hard it is to find a sedan though.. (even though Im getting a coupe!)

That is very good. I might have to wait until used ones come around, but that is an incredible pre-haggling price. If I can haggle down to 20000-20500 OTD I would do it in a heartbeat.
