havent been tuned by them yet and im sure plenty of guys will argue about this one, but SMG motoring is supposedly a pretty good tuner and there located in mass.

i dont know about many other tuners around here except for them. im planning on getting tuned by them sometime in the near future. ive been told it runs about $425 from them, which includes the hptuners credits needed to tune and two dyno runs.

im terms of comparison you can try trifecta, but if you want to do dyno runs the cost is going to end up close to the same, and trifecta mails you a gt tuner to upload there tune and then they fine tune from there by sending logs back to vince at trifecta from what ive heard.

i would suggest smg only because its local so if things go wrong you can bring it back there. i think there in hopedale mass, double check that, but there not far from you.

i'd recommend Fred as SMG any day.

i've been up there twice, once to get tuned, smaller pulley, dual pass, heat exhanger, and plugs, and the other time for stage 2 mounts. good, SAFE tune, knows what he's talking about and doing, and down to earth and easy to talk to. a lot of local new england guys seem to go to him and he's good with the ecotec.

tune's pricey, but as menace said, it includes hptuners credits, and an hour of dyno time (not 2 runs). and he doesn't put you 'on the clock' when tuning. when i got tuned, we did a baseline, did the work, and did probably 5 or 6 pulls.

btw, when i got tuned, i wanted more of a safer tune than aggressive, which is why my power isn't as high as some others here. but trust me when i say, the car runs good and cool!
