a normal 2871 is about 1200 bux.. so i'm not seeing how one thats modded to be PnP at that price is high

Personally, i'd love to see what a pro tuner could do with this stage 1 upgrade, ZZP's upcoming cams and a short runner tig welded turbo mani.

that would be interesting.. also though something to think about is on big turbo swaps they're usually not twin scroll so the stock manifold is usually hurting their performance a good bit. so on a twin scroll turbo you might not gain a whole lot going from stock to aftermarket

Good price for a turbo that bolts right up and keeps twin scroll design

By the way, Term, once this comes out I'll definitely need tuning. I was thinking about doing basically the same thing as Nick's car after he helps me put in my stage II (can't let Nick beat me, last time we raced before he had e47 we were dead even, now I know he'll kill me). I have full bolt ons and trifecta already, I will do a MAF relocation and BOV, want to go e47, and I'm going to try and get the ZZP stg IV clutch. So...how would you feel about tuning a sedan ;-)

I can definately help you with all the tuning. E-47 and a combo tune should make really good power. Nick's car is at over 350 whp on the stock turbo so if this one ends up performing like it should it should be capable of about 100 whp more than the stock turbo.

Just got a few e-mails from BNR with pics of the finished product as well as some data sheets comparing the K04 to the Stage1 and 2 upgrades.
I cant wait to do this to my balt man! It should put me exactly where I want as far as power goes

Cubaniche forwarded the E-Mails to me so I'll do it.

UPDATE: We have completed the stage 1 turbocharger upgrade and here are the details... The stage 2 (2871 version), will be done hopefully today. I will also email you the pictures and will call everyone with existing orders Monday the 22nd. Then they will be shipped out.

I have been having email problems the past several days so if I have sent you a bunch of emails, I appologize.

Looks like Bryan will be calling me on Monday when he finishes the Stage II. I want to wait until black friday and see if I can snag a Stage IV ZZP clutch for cheap though, because if so then I won't be killing the clutch like Nick. So I'm guessing that I should have everything I need by early December. I already have the CP with BOV and will be getting the cold side CP with MAF relocate either today or tomorrow.

This is core exchange type of system, you must contact the guy to be put on a list.

They aren't on the website because they are so new they don't have any prototypes in cars. He doesn't have any numbers or simply no data supporting them yet.

Once every one has all 3 stages in cars getting the most gains I am sure he will streamline the site making it much easier. Just gotta wait for the results. Stage 3 isn't even put together yet.

there is no stg 3 anymore.. the 2860 with new compressor housing was deemed not worth it

Just think if you didn't overpay for all that Hahn stuff, you could've probably had enough.
