Hey nothing wrong with the Hahn stuff I love it. Yea might have spent a little more than others but hey. I was representing an Illinois based company. Chi town all the way. Hahn never gave me a problem and I got a bad ass deal for buying all three at once. What ever floats your boat right. Just like how when I see the dyne numbers I'm getting this stage 1 turbo
Other tuner garages still have yet to get an intake that comes even close to the quality that hahn has done. With the exception of MAYBE the K&N and MAYBE the revised Injen, regardless Hahn was still the 1st.
Were sorry that we choose to spend our money of High Quality items such as Hahn. I have never read on this site about anyone complaining about the craftsmanship of anything that Hahn has put out. Only about their prices.
But its like saying "I want a Borla exhaust for my v-8 but damn its expensive". Nothing beats the sound or quality of a Borla. Same with Hahn.
Hate to say it but Hahn was the FIRST company that was actually able to nail an intake for our cars with out throwing STFT and LTFT way out of wack. I have hahn everything on my car and i paid top dollar. I also got THE best of THE Best.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to get something that's worth buying. I'm still waiting for a retune from trifecta to unleash all this **** and it seems like when I want to fly past anyone in second I can just break the tires loose.. Just think when I retune.. Can't wait. But will see about the turbo before retune
*facepalm* hahns intake isn't spot on.. goto the intake thread..there are many other intakes that are closer not to mention the issues it had when it came out that took forever to fix
their FMIC is too large and not optimized for flow of the stock turbo, their CP is no different then anyone elses neither is their DP and they're both more expensive.. i've said it before i'll say it again.. price is the perception of quality

I call b.s. I have the almost the exact same mods (not hahn tho) and more and I don't spin in 3rd. Not even at the beginning of third, except for maybe a little chirp. I can spin all the way through 2nd, but not 3rd. (mad torque steer in 3rd, torque steer makes me feel alive!)
Are you really saying that you can spin you tires all the way up to 100mph? Unless you have the worst tires ever I really doubt it. I'd love for you to prove me wrong though...take a vid and prove it!

Just got an email looks to be that there having clearance issues guys:
As some of you know I have shipped out a hand full of these stage 2 units.
I have one customer that is in the middle of installation of the stage 2 and has some minor clearance issues. We talked about it and we have come to the conclusion that we will need a spacer made to bring the turbocharger out 1/4". I want this to be a pain free installation with minimal fabrication while keeping stock heat shields. So next week I will make a CAD drawing of the exhaust manifold flange, have it cut out of steel and then order gaskets from GM. I will send the flanges, gaskets and water line kits out to the 5 purchasers of the stage 2 units. Also I will type out instructions on assembly of the spacer and water line adaptation. Also will get you pictures of the assembly process to make it easy for everyone.
Also the purchasers will need to flip the wastegate actuator around 180 degrees since the frame rail is finger width away from the wastegate actuator barb. The pictures will show how the actuator needs to be set up. Any of the purchasers can call me if they need help rotating the actuator.
Instead of the turbocharger being $1150, I'll have to bump it up to $1200 for all the hardware costs.
Here are the pictures of the stage 2!
Have a good Thanksgiving.

To the two of you getting defensive about my comment, I was not saying that their parts are garbage just real expensive. If you want to pay for their stuff that's up to you, I'm not here to judge anyone.
Now back on topic, an extra $50 is still not bad for the work he's doing.

Hey I'm not getting defensive but we r talking about the turbo on this thread and want the stage 1.... Waiting fir the dyno numbers before purchase. If 350whp is an easy gain than I'm down hopefully 400whp almost maxes out is fine with me. Hey quick question anyone do put metal sides on the intercooler. Will the stock intercooler with the metal sides fabed up a good way to go? Heard that doing this would be a decent upgrade to make the stock ic work better

Who is making 350whp on stock turbo??? Won't you need then with the stage 2 GT2871R need to up the fuel OSI in order to run smoother after 400hp? I'm sure the turbo is capable of making that and then some, but what about fueling after???
There are a few who are making over 350 whp on the stock turbo. Heck I made almost 350 whp without meth or E-85.
Maybe but BW makes one heck of a tough turbo IMHO. AT 30K tuned miles I have no shaft play on the turbo no oil usage no issues at all.
yayyyy for happy high reading dynos.. In the real world 350whp on the stock turbo (with no meth, no race fuel, or some sort of high ethenol mix) on a realistic reading dyno aint happening. Even with godly tuning magic...
