boost question

Ok I am going to explain the best way that I can
All the mods I have are listed below
Now 90% of the time when I am driving I will boost 20-21psi but on some random days the boost gauge will shoot all the way up to 25 with no drop off

Now I am wondering could this be due to not having a tune or do you think it could be something else

I have gms1 tune and sometimes it'll get up to 30 someone said wawte gate actuator but I have no idea where I could find that , this only happens like once in a while like maybe once every three weeks feedback will be greatly apreciated

If there's no overboost, code, there might not be anything wrong. It could be a lot of things, though. Start by checking the wastegate actuator.

You have to get under the car to see it. It's underneath the turbo.

Just a visual check of linkage for tightness. Check vac line to wastegate actuator for damage, etc.
