I bought the K04r because mine went bad. I have read that first gen ZFRs did fail and see a blown one every now and then for sale here but It's all about your goals

For me I'm going with a 7163 next year and I know I can sell my K04r to a bunch of locals here if I want to because everybody is so impressed with my car

Nope 28psi but I recommend 26psi.

I'm tuning that guy on 26psi running 91 so you'll be very interested in those gains

yeah im the one getting tuned by KMO. Im on 91 and i have the k04r but just waiting on the gaskets and i'll be installing it the following weekend. KMO will post my logs since he has the before and after. (And im wayy closer to sea level then KMO)

I plan on going e47 after and see the difference there too.

It's more fun I rev it out to 6500rpm without just watching my boost gauge drop so fast and knowing all I'm doing is losing power

28 psi on k04r or w/e is harder on the motor and trans than a zfr at 24 psi.

but I dont know what I'm talking about. I have 100k on my motor with the ZFR, stock trans and clutch.

That's a good deal I usually pay just over $10

Why do you think I have recommended 26psi more than once in this thread???

But not the trans the ZFR will make more torque longer without a boost ramp than the K04r

True.

I wish I could see some flow rates for it.

For the K04r?

I run 28psi knowing it'll be putting heat into onto the piston and rings but I run a ton of meth prob too much and haven't had any problems. Without meth I ran 26psi

I will do a log with just adjusting the fuel trims no tuning to see the difference then I'll add some boost and timing and see what we end up with. Bryants turbo does drop a lot of pressure at redline way more than mine does and I'm at altitude so I'm expecting some gains on the same tune
