no boost until 190 degrees. Your rings and oil consumption will suffer down the road....

other than driving around on the limiter all day, this is THE dumbest behavior ive heard of

First off, I don't think anyone was stating that they're boosting the hell out of their car when it's cold so get off your high horse.

I don't know about anyone else, but even when I'm taking off lightly down my road, the boost guage is reading 0 psi and then shift gears I still get a BOV sound from the car.. I'm pretty sure that is what the OP is refering to more or less. Prior to the car being up to full temp and you're NOT boosting it, you seem to get a louder then normal blow off sound..

Whe do most folks on this site have to be some sort of tough guy, wise ass, or straight up know it all **** sucker? It completely defeats the purpose of even having these open forums

Must make you feel good to sit behind your keyboard and call people names without knowing anything.
wow, because I called him tough guy? I'm pretty sure he's big enough to handle that harsh name..

Oh, and do you have dual personalities or multiple user names or something? You must, in order to think that one bit of what I said was directed at you.

And just an fyi, my car doesn't leave my driveway until my gauge reads 20HG of vacuum (I don't know what the converts to in angry/ignorant Canadian guy terms, but it is idle running pressure on our gauges) so please move along and try to possibly be more constructive before you attach someone who wasn't even refering to you to begin with...

Jeesh, at least MaxVQ35DE had at least some sense in his arguing.. So in his honor I will have to borrow his words of wisdom...

You sir FAIL.. lol

I really noticed the bypass in the mountains today. IT was about 50 degrees out and a beautiful day. Oh and I have the AEM intake so that makes the sound even better. When I am on the car hard and the boost is purged it sounds like a puppy yelping in my car.

It's funny you say that, because that's exactly how I describe it to my friends. It's like every time I hit the clutch it's like I'm kicking a small dog.

damn fool... turn the car on cold start... with an intake you can hear the turbo... no doubt about it... not even on the gas and the vacuum will only be at 8, then gradually decrease down to 20 once its warmed up... no one here is talking about being on boost lol...

lol, simply unhook the two clips to your stock airbox and you'll hear the damn thing crisp and clear. The box is still held on by the two clips on the right side. Ask me how I know this?

I forgot to clip in the two clips to the stock box somehow after dynoing and on my drive home, I was like why can I hear the BPV so well.... made me chuckle

yeah man, it was loud enough just unhooked. I can't even fathom how loud the BPV and the "sucking" sound is without a filter in there!
