Can anyone explain this?
I was checking my brake pads today and noticed something with my rears. The inner edge of the pads are barely worn at all and contacting the rotors but the outer edges are fairly worn and are not touching the rotors at all. i just had my rear pads and rotors replaced under warranty about 3,000 miles ago. What gives?
i took a picture to show what i mean. it was hard to get a good angle but it's visable.
Can anyone shed some light on this? dealership for inspection? it goes in on thursday.

If those rear cobalt pads had you wondering, check out the FRONT brakes on an LS HHR, 3/4 of the pad is chamfered, theres very little actual material touching the rotor surface.
Does the SS HHR have brembos?
