09cobaltss, feel free to do more damage. I need about another 3-3.5K in damage to total it. With all my parts the ACV is about $20,500. Damages are at $11,600.

New York state puts a cap on totaling a car, can't exceed 75% of the ACV. Allstate told me that once you're above 70%, it's most likely totaled due to the little unaccounted for problems along the way of repairing a car. So either way if they accounted for my parts (70% of $20,500 = $14,350) or didn't (70% of ~$18,000 = $12,600). Allstate had looked over the repair estimate and knocked it down to about $10K this morning, putting me even further away now.

Not many people have had good experiences with DeNooyer. Might I ask why you're not taking it to a standalone body shop? There are a couple really good ones in the area...

prior to this situation, I have had nothing but good business with Denooyer. Allstate considers Denooyer a "direct repair" facility. They quarantee the work for life, and plus i figured Denooyer, with their performance oriented dealership would help me out. I'm pretty sure at this point it would come out of pocket if i moved it to a different shop.

And your tires will pay for it for ever. You guys thought the SST/C goes through tires quickly now? Wait till you get that car back on the road...

Car does not have a FRAME. Unibody structure means the car IS the entire frame.
