CEL, less power?

So I tried a NLS from 1 to 2 and forgot to turn off TCS before hand. After the shift I lost power and the CEL was flashing (No message on the DIC). The car's exhaust sounded sputtery like a boxer engine and had very little power. The CEL eventually lit up fully, then went out after 10 seconds and everything went back to normal.

Everything is fine now, but has anyone else experienced this?

That's what I though, maybe a random misfire. First thing I checked was the boost tubing lol, all good though.

I was under the impression that you could NLS without the Traction Control being turned off?

You can.

You can NLS in any mode. Says so in the '09 owners manual too, as well as the handout if you got an '08.

It does say that in the '09 manual, but DOES NOT say it in the supplement that came with the '08's. I am starting to think this might be a change from '08 to '09...it does run a different OS than the '08's...

You can, but the problem I find is when the TCS is active and you try to NLS in first, when the tires spin from 1 to 2 it bogs and you lose boost.

I was only *slightly* curious what was going on because of the lack of power and the exhaust...like I said, sounded like the timing was off or something...but went back to normal after like 30 seconds. Something must have tripped something, lol. That sounds intelligent.
