Checking for boost leaks
I just installed my hot side piping and wondering if there is a good way to determine if there are boost leaks besides pressurizing the system. how tight is to tight for the clamps?

Pressurizing is the only way to reliably check for leaks.

No other way to test the system under pressure.

I always thought about pressuriZing the system with some sort of smoke screen or something so you can see if there was a boost leak cause smoke will come out lol. Just a thought.

I would imagine you could also do the same thing you do with a leaking tire, put soapy water on all the connections, watch for bubbles.

Yup. That's what I do to check for the smaller leaks.
