why? they arent gmpp certified or you didnt buy it there? Will they do just the flash? then you could install the sensors yourself and bring it in for the flash. Otherwise good luck! I think someone will speak up with a good place to take it.

The OEM MAP and TMAP sensors have to be replaced, which means the pigtails have to be replaced, which means you have to cut the factory connectors off and solder in the new pigtails. There is also a boss on the TMAP sensor that has to be ground off to allow it to bolt to the coldside pipe correctly. There is a problem with the orientation of the TMAP sensor, though. The 2.5 bar OEM is at a 90-degree angle, and the 3.0 bar is a straight connection, which leads to problems with interference from the A/C compressor lines in one direction, and the fans in the other. Why they couldn't make a 90-degree 3.0 bar MAP sensor is beyond me.

They either think you're talking about the SS/SC's stage kits (Which are a bitch to do the pulley swap on since most dealers don't have the necessary equipment to properly remove the stock pulley and press the new hub on), or they just don't feel comfortable with possibly screwing something up.

Call another dealer and see if they'll do it. I'd imagine Long Island has more than one dealer.

What is wrong with these dealerships? Do they just hire random people off the street that can’t cut some wires? I installed the sensors in less than 30 minutes. The directions were extremely easy to follow. It took my dealership over an hour just to flash the ECU….I mean, come on! I wish I could just rent the damn OBD tool and flash it myself too. Most of them brag that they have “ASE” certified techs...what a bunch of bull.

ASE Certification means nothing anymore.

This was from a Chevy Dealer that was "ASE CERTIFIED" and they did this Maaco-job:

Sorry but that just makes me mad, i gave you information you need already and your still asking for it

if you search "gmpp dealers" in google the first result is their official gmpp dealer finder where you enter in your zip or you pick a city/state to find a gmpp dealer

Does anyone know if the Performance Autowerks sensors look exactly like the ones that GM would use?

I have to swap my sensors and pcm back in for a warranty repair but would rather just have them flash the GM Stage 1 Flash on my factory computer for warranty purposes
