never heard of it. if you want a tune you should go see BYT he is the best.

 

That's chris miller from nrg tech, and I"m pretty sure he moved down to maryland.
AS far as I know he's never tuned a cobalt, I used to bring the cars there to tune on his dyno.

BYT = BackYard Turbo. Nick is the owner and he's a great guy. He's also a vendor on here.

well just to update, he is in farmingdale, but his new shop isn't open just yet

 

I'm pretty sure Chris just got the dyno in the ground this past week. Chris knows his ****... he USED to be with NRG Tech Racing. I've been on the starting line at two of his races. I wouldnt hesitate to let him tune your car...

i got an invite from him to "like" the powerhouse page this morning... so far the shop looks pretty killer, i lawl'd at the espresso machine in the lobby tho.

 

update: i just talked to chris yesterday. mentioned getting a tune and dyno and he gave me a price. seems like a cool dude. i wanna check out BYT. sorry it wasent a joke, i was just clueless. im still new to alot here and trying to figure it out. thanks for the help.

 

What was the price he gave you? I'm Interested in details cause I live on Long Isand and want a tune also.

 

650 for the tune and 600 to dyno

 

I"m pretty sure he really hasn't done any cobalts, well at least the last time I was there. I usually used his dyno to tune the ones I brought there. But he is a good tuner, and a computer is a computer, so I'm sure he'll be fine.

 

all i know is when i saw him at the track he did absolute work with the tune on the civic and he kept offering us hoagies... "just go get yous guys some"

 

Does that seem a bit steep to anyone else? thats $1250 just for tuning and dyno time... I dunno just seems a bit much. Check around here. Nick gets good results, so does Terminator2. Go HP tuners its the bee's knees!
