so i was rotating my tires today, and was on the r/f wheel and noticed oil around the axle support bearing. thought the grease inside of the bearings was slinging. looked directly above it and there is a plug on the backside of the front cover that appears to be leaking. so i am like wtf, no big deal really. dont know why but i checked my oil and was way over filled, about half an inch. smelled the dipstick and noticed gas in the oil. my car is completely stock, rarely beat on and has 10500 miles on it. taking it to the dealer tomorrow, but they are probably going to give me the run around. thought i would share this new oil leak and the gas/oil issue

if they have to open up the engine and do any work to the internals, def getting rid of it. have to remember that gas is now being circulated throughtout the engine with the oil. so everything being lubricated with oil is now having the same done with the gas. turbo, cam, crank, mains. def don't want to keep my car and then in another 10k miles something else happens

Theres always a gas smell in every vehicle I have done oil changes on. Its part of your car not sucking in air but having air rammed into the cylinders. Have you taken in for the oil changes or you do them.

i do them my self. put exactly 1 5 quart jug of mobile one in. oil is about 3/4 of an inch above the full mark on the dipstick with a very dominant smell of gas on it

got my car back. the oil leak was apparently not oil, but a coolant leak. they fixed that and added dye to the system. they checked the injectors and said all were opening and closing properly but want to recheck them again when i bring my car back next week to have the rear brakes replaced. so i will know more next week
