Cobalt SS T/C rear brakes=no car till at least 02/09/09!!! #$@%
Yeah I just got that lovely little bit of info this morning...
My car went in to the dealer December 20th, and GM is now telling them I won't have my parts until AT EARLIEST February 9th!!!!!
So im stuck driving my rental till then...
Needless to say I'm a little upset...
So to anyone else that is having their car fall to same fate...be prepared to wait a LONG ASS time.

A pos Lipstick red Ford Focus SES. I'm swapping it for a Cobalt Sedan on Friday, as the Focus is just to uncomfortable for me over long drives.
It has no guts, and handles like garbage. So the answer is no...there isn't really any fun to be had.

nothing has been confirmed tho........some who's got money to spend and plans to go aftermarket anyway should just do it and get EBC rotors and try em...........realistically, anyone who lives close enough to EBC, Frozen Rotors, R1Concepts, should be able to go down there and let them have a look at your rotors/pads so they can start designing and manufacturing them......1st company to have rotors/pads and mass advertise on here will get TON-O sales.

Where did you get that link for those pads, I thought they did not have pads for the TC as of yet. Proof?

Ohhh thought i would add this in i called TAC today and they said i was the first one to call in on this issue...................I say BULLSHIT to that, and this is what he said "Ohhh well the brake pads are of high metallic content so you could have gotten a big chunk in there and that could have caused the grooves" i said" really thats odd how is it only happening on the inside of the rotors on both sides????" and that is pretty much where it ended.

Why did they take your car in before they got the parts? Im still driving my car, parts are on order. I had it in, and they said it needed front rotors, and rear pads and gave it back to me and said theyd call me when the parts come in and that it may take some time (which we already knew).
What the hell happened to your trans????? How many miles on the car?
