On my 2010 the other day I got under it to change the oil and noticed a wet spot around the axle where it goes into the transmission like that seal had been leaking. Right above that there was a drop of oil on one of the lines going to the turbo. Do I need to make a trip to the dealer?

 

I've heard some stories about leaks on the earlier 09's, but not where you're talking about, and my 09 is so far oil-leak free (knock on wood).

 

You have a warranty use it. Take it in and tell them this doesn't look right.

 

do it just to be safe cause it could effect the cam shaft sensor at least i think.

thats what happened to my 08

 

The hole drivers side of the engine is black from top to bottom. I've stopped riding it until I get a chance to take it to the dealer. Thanks
