competitive mode
Gonna share an experience of mine for the community.
little did i know what i'd be getting into when i pressed this one little button. I've owned my ss/tc for about 3 days, and was perfectly happy with the 15 psi i thought it was tuned for. Tonight on the way home, i hit the traction control button twice, and all hell broke loose. Went from a casual 15 to a instant spool of 21 and rocketed my ass foreward faster than i could have believed. Hell ******* yeah, that is all.

Sorry your a newb. Your car has a switchable aftermarket tune. It's an option by trifecta tuning. Normally the competetive mode doesn't change boost levels, or tunes, at all. Pretty much normally just turns on launch control and turns down the stability control a little bit.
people had mentioned the car can hold two tunes, and i was kinda messing with buttons and stuff on the way home, and lo and behold lol. The car came with an intake and zzp charge piping, a buddy of mine wanted to run my VIN to see if the car had been trifecta tuned, i guess i found out the fun way huh
i had the same surprise happen to me, but my car only came with the Injen CAI.
If you want to be sure, you can email Vince at Trifecta, and he'll ask for your VIN and can verify it was tuned and when.
