I have a coupe but i'm wishing it was a sedan. The performance aspects are almost identical plus 2 extra doors on the sedan. I said to myself that I don't need a 4 door car but there has already been countless times where I could have used the extra room.
No performance disadvantage + more room = win.

It may be the low/high wing drag, but I've got a friend with a TC sedan with the speed limiter turned "off" that has insane top speed... we're talking past what the speedo reads kind of speed. It's just as fast as a coupe. We are literally neck and neck usually. As speed gets up there though, he will start leaving me.
Here are some figures GM released about the hirise's downforce. If it's pushing 120 lbs at 160 let's say.....imagine how much resistance it's creating in the air.
70 mph ............23 pounds of downforce.
120 mph ..........68.7 pounds
155 mph ........115 pounds.
Just doing a quick search.....found 1 that is less then 500 miles from you I think....Depends on what part of Ohio your in

It's the High rise, without it the coupe is prolly slicker, aero wise, than the sedan with the raised roof line .

They've figured out two different ways to wire up the RPD now, so it's possible for the sedan after the fact. There's the whole replace the entire wiring harness behind the dash way and then there's the hook it up to the OBDII and stash the wires behind the pillar/dash way. The second one is much cheaper and easier. Both methods can be found on the forums here.

has anyone done this on their sedan? i would love to see a picture. I actually like the look of the coupes better. im not married so i really dont need the extra space. besides the chicks dig the coupe. it would have been nice if gm included the coupes rear bumper limp on the sedan. i have seen some members here who have put in on after the fact and it looks great.

I wish this aswell!
I would also love to install the rpd in my sedan, but the only way that is going to happen is if I can find a wrecked coupe with one for DIRT CHEAP. There are much better options out there for just over $500.

Got some more pics of that - say directly behind, and side view ?

He tends to get better gas mileage too.
Where there's a will, there's a way.
Honestly though, I don't think that looks all that bad on it. It's even made by GM.

That's actually kind of

Honestly, except for the RPD, you can get everything of the coupe in the sedan. There really aren't any drawbacks. After checking out my friend's one, I would highly recommend it if you're interested in it (and I've got a coupe). Plus, you get the sleeper look, so you can run when you want to and don't have to worry about rice getting on your nerves when you don't. Everybody hates to get beaten by a 4 door.

My sedan feels incredibly sound at higher speeds , like I said earlier Motor trend which we all know is such a reliable source for information LOL , they show the sedans top speed 1mph more then the coupe but the coupe has the high rise they tested but I think a low rise sedan is a small perctentage better in aerodynamics area .. My car has what feels like "insane" top speed too it still amazes me as the speedo just keeps going and going ..
Like he said they are neck and neck till probably 120 or so
The sleeper look also makes cops look the other direction too it just looks like another economy car on the road after they see a riced out mid 90's civic with a bench seat on the back or a fancy M3 or M5 Bmw or Audi etc or even high rise tc coupes are attention ****** but its what everyones taste is so the flashy look is cool too . I always see vette owners driving like 10 mph under the speed limit they are scared they are gunna get pulled over
I agree with this. The more effortless speed becomes, the less you tend to achieve higher velocities. When I drive my parents minivan I end up hammering on it just to get anywhere, and regularly find myself exceeding the limit. In my SS/TC, it seems I make good forward progress just easing around, so I take it easier.
