The bounce usually comes from cut to many springs off or prolonged use off the now harder spring on the shock so as aggressive as they are factory I really don't see the problem as long as u don't ruin the temper in the spring cut from the bottom and don't cut to much these cars weren't built to ride like caddys anyway I'm not worried about the ride as much as hanging in a corner at 100+

I heard if you put your springs in the oven, get 'em real hot, then let Adel sit on them they'll compress 4"

It's not like the suspension will be any softer it will be harder because I will be cutting te softer part of the suspension the lower center of gravity and harder suspension will make a rougher ride but should make it stick better In a turn correct me if I'm wrong I'm just not spending any big bills on the ss when I got a termi swapped cobra in the shop lol

I liked the part where struts with 50k miles are probably already dead anyways.

Oh, and the part where sportlines aren't low enough so children want to be ghetto as **** and cut them more.

Just get H&R springs if you want a lower ride than sportlines. Cut them if you must and turn your cars ride into a rollercoaster.

Have many of these people that are talking **** ever even cut springs and drove there car I know plenty of people that have and do not even have a problem so why do u criticize something u ideally have no idea what ur talking bout I would rather cut my springs and have a lower center of gravity and look better and have that little bit more rough ride while I drive down the highway where there is not very many bumps that doesn't even matter to me anyway and save my money for a tune or 3 inch exhaust or maybe my drag car I'm building

I cant believe all the hatred have for this type of stuff. I had cut coils in a 94 Plymouth laser i had with original stock struts with over 150k and it didnt ride bad. Ive also read on hear that several guys have cut another coil in the front and it doesnt ride bad either.

Cutting springs is one of those things that when people do it, they are happy (in cases where theres upgraded struts) and then people that havent done it that want to "ban" them for it??? thats strange. Granted cutting them in the back is dangerous, and technically cutting them at all is dangerous, but it has been done and is possible. Just dont understand the hostility.

If cut springs were safe and obviously cheaper then we would start seeing companies do it.

INTRODUCING H&R CUT STOCK SPRINGS! Quality made springs with two coils cut off!!!! Drop your ride hide 1", 2", 3" hell just tell us what you want and we can do it with our Sawzall! All for the low meezly cost of $30, after sending in your stock springs.

You pay shipping cost and we will make sure to professionally destroy your factory ride setup! We promise you won't.

Yup, sounds about right. I have rode in cars with shitty suspension setups. They suck. Dont cut springs, sell em, make some small amount of cash and enjoy a cheeseburger.
I mean I wonder why Lambo and Ferrari owners don't just go cutting there springs to drop that ride height? hmmmmm One does ponder such thoughts. And dont go saying its because they can buy whatever they want because lets face it, saving money is saving money right? lol.

LOLOL. Stacey David knows best. And there are companies that have advertised that it is ok to cut off dead coils before because they dont affect ride quality.
